Mark Van Paasschen

About the Attorney

Mark Van Paasschen is an experienced civil litigation attorney who has a reputation among his peers for being a fierce advocate for injured Oklahomans. His approach to cases has been described as creative and innovative.

Mark has spent his entire career representing Oklahomans who have been injured by someone else. Mark understands that personal and professional matters are intimately intertwined. As a result, Mark believes a client can only fully benefit from their attorney’s knowledge and expertise if that attorney fully embraces the reality that he must be a strategic partner in the critical aspects of a client’s personal life and professional life. Mark represents Yukon residents as well as Oklahomans living throughout the state.

Mark’s experience combined with his genuine compassion allows him to break down complex legal matters in a relatable way for his clients. As a result, Mark does not shy away from complicated cases including: truck crashes, wrongful deaths, vehicle products liability claims, and premises liability claims.

Outside of the office Mark, is committed to his wife and family while also filling in as the public address announcer for the Oklahoma City Dodgers baseball games. Mark is also an active member of the Oklahoma Associate for Justice which advocates for injured Oklahomans.

Mark is happily and proudly married to his wife. They live in north Yukon with his step-daughter who attends Yukon Public Schools.  Mark’s step-son recently completed a tour of duty with the United States Army and he now lives in north Oklahoma City. Mark and his family are active in their church and their community, enjoy traveling, and spending time at the lake.
